Educational Materials
Education is a large part of S.A.V.E.'s mission. Here you can see presentations
and other educational materials that we have put together on various recycling-related
topics. S.A.V.E. staff and volunteers are also available to give presentations
at schools in the Helena area. In the past we have presented to several
schools in Helena, as well as Townsend. Please contact recycle@Savemobile.org
if you would like S.A.V.E. to present to your school or organization.
To learn more about reducing, reusing, and recycling, check out this presentation (designed for elementary aged children).
Interested in finding out the basics of recycling? Check out this presentation.
If you're interested at starting a recycling program at your school, go through this worksheet to get things started! While you're at it, check out this presentation on recycling in your school.
The below video shows the July 2009 collection and baling of plastics at S.A.V.E.'s plastics drive. This event is a unique example of event based recycling designed to augment recycling infrastructure in a rural community that would otherwise have no plastics recycling option.
